Consisting of 61 aluminum panels, Dragon Wall measures approximately 14×16 feet. The panels are painted with acrylic and boast a set of 49 painted symbols that reflect the student community and the history of the neighborhood community around the school. Students at Healy Elementary helped the lead artist, Bernard Williams, research the symbolic designs that went into the project. These include a dragon, city buildings, a student at work, an African mask, and a butterfly. The project was completed in 2002.
