The Dance of the Lightning Bugs is a 100-foot by 30-foot mural installed on an outside wall at the ComEd Tech Center in Maywood, Illinois. The piece is designed to illustrate how nature inspires technology. The fabulous, larger-than-life creation depicts lightning bugs brightening the sky the way ComEd illuminates Chicago and the surrounding areas. The project was a great opportunity to engage with students in the community, support their artistic aspirations, and help them learn about ComEd, electricity, and project management.
