Artist Miguel A. Del Real is a Chicago native who produces intricate artwork with vibrant accents and original designs influenced by calligraphy and indigenous patterns. His signature style uses layers to show conceptual or abstract imagery, line precision, and unique color combinations. Del Real has completed projects with the City of Chicago DCASE, CPAG, Chicago Truborn, and OPEN Studio for the Arts; the City of Santa Clarita California; Arts Gowanus NYDOT and also in Oaxaca Mexico. In addition, Del Real has exhibited art in various solo and group shows and has worked as an art educator connecting with youth and diverse communities to develop creativity and identity through art.
